  Wine Cocktails

SERVES 4-6

Ingredients:

Method:

  1. Combine the sugar and orange juice with 185ml water in a small saucepan. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
  2. Add the cinnamon, star anise and cloves. Bring to a simmer. 
  3. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the Woodfired Shiraz and Tawny.
  4. Set aside for 20 minutes to allow the flavours to infuse. 
  5. Gently reheat the mixture over a low heat to serve warm, if desired, or serve at room temperature. Transfer the mixture to a heatproof jug and add the sliced orange and pear. Serve in heatproof glasses with rosemary sprigs, if you like.
