With a legacy of crafting quality wines spanning decades, De Bortoli Wines has cemented their position as a prominent figure in the Australian wine industry. The family owned company further solidified their position as an industry leader with their remarkable performance at the 2025 National Wine Show of Australia.

Since its inception, the National Wine Show of Australia has served as a yardstick for the finest Australian wines. Only the highest-awarded wines from qualifying Australian wine shows are eligible to compete, making winning at this event a testament to excellent quality and craftsmanship.

De Bortoli Wines made several trips to the podium this year, earning two category trophies by taking out the Best Sweet Wine and Best Pinot Gris / Grigio.

Best Pinot Gris / Grigio for 2024 One Line Pinot Grigio

Equally deserving of praise was the 2024 One Line Pinot Grigio, which highlights Rutherglen’s story, showcasing the region’s ability to craft vibrant, modern white wines. The winemaking team at De Bortoli Rutherglen has embraced the region’s natural strengths, working with the unique terroir and climate to craft the One Line range, which is also accredited with the Sustainable Winegrowing Australia certificate. The 2024 One Line Pinot Grigio is delicate yet refreshing, offering notes of pear, almond, and citrus with a savoury, elegant finish.

Reflecting on these achievements, Managing Director Darren De Bortoli stated, “We’re absolutely thrilled! It's incredibly rewarding to see our dedication to quality and tradition being recognized, and it's a testament to the hard work of our team.”
