Corporate Policy

The De Bortoli family aim is to create a resilient long-term business with a zero harm or injury target. A workplace culture of integrity and flexibility with a strong sense of community and openness, where all staff act ethically, manage business risks appropriately and always seek to improve the business, forms the foundation of this business model. All staff must understand the legal framework within which they work and the potential risks to which both the business and they themselves are exposed and that they are empowered to manage those risks.

Supplier Program

Suppliers are required to complete the De Bortoli Wines Approved Suppliers Questionnaire. The link to the form is below.

A pdf of our supplier requirements is also located here and you are required to read this and acknowledge that you will comply in the questionnaire.

We require an up to date specification for each and every product. This may be achieved by a link to your website which has the most current specifications or via sending an email to your De Bortoli contact. We require a certificate of analysis or conformance with every delivery. A certificate of analysis contains the actual test results on it and a certificate of conformance declares that the product has been tested and conforms to its specification. Both documents must contain the batch numbers and the manufacture date and must be signed and dated by a person of authority. Please contact us should you require further explanation.

We have chosen to align with globally recognised standards to ensure global trade best practice and to demonstrate our commitment to continuous improvement to Food Safety, Quality, National and International Regulatory Compliance.

As a Sedex member we are committed to operating Ethically and Sustainably throughout each tier of the supply chain.
