CITRUS SAVVY B BLEND

  Wine Cocktails

SERVES 2

Ingredients:

  • 250ml of Windy Peak Sauvignon Blanc
  • 45ml of lavender-lemon syrup
  • 30ml of grapefruit juice
  • Lavender sprig and a lemon twist for garnishing
  • Ice

Method:

  1. Combine the wine, syrup, grapefruit juice into a cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. After it has been blended, strain into your glass and garnish with lavender and a lemon twist.

Lavender-lemon syrup:

Ingredients:

  • 500g of sugar
  • 250ml of lemon juice
  • 250ml of water
  • 1 1/2 tsp dried lavender

Method: 

  1. Combine all ingredients into a small saucepan and bring to a light simmer, remove from heat and allow syrup to cool.
  2. Remove lavender by straining through a fine mesh sieve. 
  3. Store syrup in a resealable container.
