Securing a booking for your wedding
To secure a booking, the team at De Bortoli Rutherglen will provide you with a detailed quote
based on the package you have chosen and the approximate number of guests you nominate.
The final figure will reflect the confirmed number of guests.
Please be aware that significant changes to the number of guests or the package will require a new quote.
When accepting a quote and securing your date, we require the following
1. A signed, accepted copy of the this contract including contact details and address of
the bridal couple.
2. The first deposit.
3. A credit card number as security for any charges incurred. This credit card will be used
in the event of any unpaid charges. It will also be used to cover any property damage.
Examples of damage we have incurred in the past include: damaged toilets and other fixtures, broken furniture (the result of being thrown or danced on), damaged garden structures or trees and bushes, glassware breakage over the usual 10%, filters on the pool or pond needing to be cleaned or replaced.
Accommodation
At the time of booking, we will allocate as many accommodation rooms as available.
Your guests will be able to call to secure these rooms under their own names when they provide contact and credit card details.
Our staff will provide you with a full list of all rooms held and/or confirmed so that final accommodation requirements can be arranged prior to two months in advance of the wedding. All bookings need to be secured with full contact details and a payment method from the individual guests staying in the accommodation.
Room charges, including minibar and extra cleaning will need to be covered by the guests staying in the room.
Any charges not paid, including late cancellations will be charged to the credit card lodged with the wedding booking.
Suppliers
All suppliers arranged by the bridal couple who will be on site must comply with WHS safety standards and policies.
Any suppliers found to be operating in an unsafe manner will be asked to leave the site immediately.
Booking and Deposits Timeframe
- Meet our team to discuss your plans. We will provide a quote based on this discussion
- $1,500 deposit. The date and available accommodation is secured for you. (Please be aware that the $1,500 deposit is non-refundable. In exceptional circumstances, a refund may be provided on a case by case basis.)
- 2 months prior to the wedding: any unclaimed accommodation will be released for general bookings
- 6 weeks prior to the wedding: confirmation of menus, seating arrangements, dietary requirements and final numbers
- 1 week prior to the wedding: final payment due.
