EASY SUMMER

  Wine Cocktails

SERVES 6

Ingredients:

  • 500ml of Petit Moscato 
  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 2 cups frozen pineapple
  • 2 cups ice cubes divided
  • Garnish with fresh pineapple & strawberries
  • Simple Syrup
    • 125g granulated sugar
    • 125ml water

Method:

  1. Make the simple syrup by heating 125ml water in a bowl for 1 minute.
  2. Add 125g of sugar and stir to dissolve the sugar. Set aside and allow to cool.
  3. In your blender, add 250ml chilled Petit Moscato, 2 cups frozen strawberriess, 1 cup ice and 60ml simple syrup. Blend until smooth.
  4. Pour your slushie into a pitcher, or large glass jar and repeat with your second fruit flavour. Blend 2 cups of frozen pineapple, 250ml chilled Petit Moscato, 1 cup ice and 60ml simple syrup until smooth.
  5. In the bottom half of a wine glass, spoon 1/2 cup of your strawberry slushie, then top that by spooning a 1/2 cup of pineapple slushie on top. Garnish with fresh pineapple and strawberries.
