Our lovely stone-fronted Cellar Door in the Hunter Valley is an excellent place to get a feel for the diversity and quality of our range and the flavours of the region. We have a variety of wines on tasting from all of our vineyards, including our range of Premium Fortifieds  the iconic De Bortoli Noble One and our very own Hunter Valley single vineyard releases of Chardonnay, Shiraz and Rosé.

Our welcoming Cellar Door Team are experienced in the food and wine industry and are ready to not just pour you a great taste of wine but to have an entertaining (and somewhat educational!) chat with you about it too. A fantastic selection of food is also available to complement your tasting experience.

Sip and savour in the relaxed atmosphere of our cellar door, surrounded by the stunning barrel artwork that makes the space so unique. Pair your tasting with delicious bites from Roberto’s Gourmet Dispensa, available 7 days a week.

Roberto’s Gourmet Dispensa: Open 7 days a week. Roberto’s Gourmet Dispensa is the perfect complement to your De Bortoli wine tasting experience. Enjoy a curated selection of cheeses, olives, and charcuterie, all designed to pair beautifully with our wines. Feeling a little peckish? Indulgent snacks like white truffle crisps and Spanish jamón are also available. Quench your thirst with beers on tap from Maltnhops ($9.50/glass), wine by the glass ($11.50), or cocktails ($14.90) — enjoy them in the cellar door or outside in the courtyard.

Take the Hunter Valley experience home with a range of gourmet Mediterranean produce — including saffron, porcini, truffle oil, pasta & sauces, pâté, terrines, and more.

De Bortoli Wines’ Hunter Valley Estate includes 34 hectares near Pokolbin, the gateway to Hunter Valley Wine Country. There is an onsite winery and barrel room at the main property and a cellar door building, open daily for tastings that highlight the variety in our range from across our Estates.
