SERVES 2
Ingredients:
- 250ml of Windy Peak Sauvignon Blanc
- 45ml of lavender-lemon syrup
- 30ml of grapefruit juice
- Lavender sprig and a lemon twist for garnishing
- Ice
Method:
- Combine the wine, syrup, grapefruit juice into a cocktail shaker with ice.
- After it has been blended, strain into your glass and garnish with lavender and a lemon twist.
Lavender-lemon syrup:
Ingredients:
- 500g of sugar
- 250ml of lemon juice
- 250ml of water
- 1 1/2 tsp dried lavender
Method:
- Combine all ingredients into a small saucepan and bring to a light simmer, remove from heat and allow syrup to cool.
- Remove lavender by straining through a fine mesh sieve.
- Store syrup in a resealable container.
