Media Release, February 2026
There’s a first wine for everyone, one that feels accessible, enjoyable and easy to love. For many, that wine is Moscato. It’s often the beginning of a wine journey, bright, expressive and instantly enjoyable. But somewhere along the way, that simple enjoyment can get lost. As tastes evolve and expectations grow, the way we choose wine can shift - becoming a little more considered and influenced. With LOVE Moscato, De Bortoli Wines invites drinkers to return to that sense of ease, to express themselves freely, without hesitation, and to enjoy wine in a way that feels natural to them.
Made from the aromatic Muscat family of grapes, Moscato is known for its expressive fruit character, gentle florals and refreshing finish. LOVE Moscato brings these qualities together in a way that feels light, vibrant and expressive, a style that is easy to enjoy and effortlessly inviting. Building on the success of Rosé Rosé, Blue Gris and PINOT Pinot Noir , it brings a bright, playful energy to the range, offering a wine that people can connect with in their own way, whatever the occasion.
“In the glass, LOVE Moscato shows a pale straw colour with a hint of green,” says Head Winemaker John Coughlan. “The aroma is fresh and lifted, with notes of citrus and subtle florals, leading into a light, crisp palate with flavours of ripe peach and mandarin. It finishes clean and lively, making it easy to return to the glass.”
LOVE Moscato pairs effortlessly with light, fresh food, from salads and seafood to soft cheeses and fruit-forward desserts. It suits relaxed lunches, shared tables, and moments that are easy, social and full of life.
For those discovering wine for the first time, LOVE Moscato offers an inviting entry point, it’s approachable, flavourful and immediately enjoyable. For others, it’s a return to something familiar, a reminder of where their wine journey began, and an opportunity to rediscover it with confidence. At its heart, LOVE Moscato is about self-expression, a reminder to enjoy wine your way, whatever that looks like to you.
