De Bortoli Wines closed the 2025 wine show season with a standout collection of accolades, winning 17 trophies and more than 100 gold medals across national and international competitions. The results showcase the winery’s winemaking expertise across Australia’s most distinctive wine regions. From cool-climate Chardonnay to premium fortified styles, these achievements reaffirm De Bortoli’s commitment to crafting benchmark Australian wines recognised worldwide.
Since its creation in 1982, Noble One has remained a benchmark for Australian Botrytis Semillon, a reputation further reinforced in 2025. Across multiple vintages, the wine received 7 trophies, including Best Sweet White and Best Museum Class, alongside 10 gold medals at respected national and international competitions. Its enduring success reaffirms its place as one of Australia’s most consistently decorated wines.
De Bortoli’s regional focus was also reflected in the success of the One Line range, crafted in Rutherglen, one of Australia’s most historic wine regions. Long celebrated for world-class Muscat and richly expressive reds, Rutherglen is now proving itself as an exceptional home for fresh, textural whites and other emerging varietals. Across the full One Line collection, the range achieved 3 trophies and 16 gold medals at major national and international shows, positioning it at the forefront of Rutherglen’s evolving story, celebrating diversity, innovation, and contemporary expressions from a region long renowned for its fortified heritage. The DEEN Botrytis Semillon, created in honour of Deen De Bortoli, a true visionary who sought to make quality wine accessible for everyone, also celebrated notable success. The wine has received 5 trophies and 10 gold medals at respected national and international shows, standing as a proud tribute to Deen’s enduring legacy and his belief that great wine should be part of everyday enjoyment.
Not only did De Bortoli’s still and non-still wines shine in 2025, but the winery’s premium fortified portfolio also delivered exceptional results. The range achieved 18 gold medals across national and international competitions, along with a Masters Medal at the 2025 Drinks Business Global Fortified Masters, underscoring the winery’s longstanding expertise in producing complex, age-worthy fortified wines that continue to impress on the world stage.

As the program’s sole Platinum Partner, the recognition reflects De Bortoli’s ongoing commitment to regenerative viticulture, energy efficiency, and long-term environmental stewardship across its vineyards and operations.
