Trees are a major contributor to products in our homes that we use daily. Yes, everything made from wood comes from trees such as cabinets, doors, homes, fences, wine corks, toothpicks, matches, pencils and paper.

In addition, the wood pulp from trees is in several paper products including coffee filters, tissues, toilet paper, diapers, blankets and wall insulation.

The cellulose fibers from trees make a vast assortment of other products. These include hard hats, sandwich bags, rayon clothing and cellophane paper. 

And tree byproducts are used to make chemicals such as scented oils, shoe polish, crayons, deodorants and insecticides.
