De Bortoli Yarra Valley Hosts Racing Legends for the 2026 Lexus Melbourne Cup Tour

The Lexus Melbourne Cup Tour rolled into the Yarra Valley on Sunday, with De Bortoli Wines proudly hosting one of the official stops on the nationwide and international journey of Australia's most iconic sporting trophy.

As the Official Wine Partner of the Victoria Racing Club (VRC), De Bortoli welcomed racing fans, wine lovers and visitors for a memorable day celebrating the Lexus Melbourne Cup Tour, featuring the iconic 18-carat gold Lexus Melbourne Cup trophy, legendary three-time Melbourne Cup-winning jockey Damien Oliver and 2019 Melbourne Cup winner Vow And Declare.

Guests began the day with exclusive behind-the-scenes winery tours alongside Damien Oliver, who shared stories from his remarkable racing career and spent time chatting with visitors in an intimate setting before the main event at Locale Restaurant.

Director and Yarra Valley Estate Manager Leanne De Bortoli said welcoming the Lexus Melbourne Cup Tour to the winery reflected the strong alignment between De Bortoli Wines and the Victoria Racing Club.
