We are open for tastings again and are continuing to do our utmost to keep you, our staff and all of our loved ones safe during this time. In line with Government regulations, bookings for all areas of the business are required.
Our historic Rutherglen Cellar Door building was originally built as cellars in 1886, and was the site of Seppelts Wines for over one hundred years. Located in the heart of Rutherglen, today it is home to our Rutherglen Estate Cellar Door, and also the Tuileries Complex – a cafe, a la carte restaurant, luxury accommodation and conference facility.
Our modern, contemporary Cellar Door (in keeping with the building's history) also houses a wonderful art gallery featuring indigenous art and artefacts. We offer the chance to take in our unique personality and a diverse range of tastings of regularly awarded premium regional wines. Our friendly and knowledgeable Cellar Door team, will show you through our wine range and help you find something that suits your taste.
Tastings available 10am to 5pm daily. For more information or to make a booking contact: Telephone: (02) 6033 6100 or complete our enquiry form.
Enjoy a hosted tasting and discover up to 12 wines from our seasonal tasting menu in Cellar Door. Opportunity to also add a cheese plate.
Seated tastings are available daily. Cellar door numbers are subject to restrictions so bookings are essential.
Tuileries has a history of being one of the premium Rutherglen restaurants. That tradition continues with sophisticated, country cuisine and the ambience of a relaxed, but elegant dining room. Tuileries wine bar is a comfortable place to catch up with friends for a drink, meet for book club with a glass of wine, or have a cocktail before moving in to dinner.
Locale is the expression of our Italian heritage and Tuileries is synonymous with the Rutherglen wine region.
Tuileries at De Bortoli Rutherglen is the only accommodation in town overlooking a vineyard.
We believe wine should have varietal detail and be a reflection of site and season with 'a sense of place'.
