CELLAR DOOR & EVENTS COORDINATOR

An exciting opportunity has been created for a Cellar Door & Events Coordinator to join our team based in our award winning Bilbul winery. Working together with the Cellar Door Sales Manager, duties will include: 

  • Providing a high level of cutormer service to a range of internal and external customers.
  • Performing key administration functions and tasks assoicated with the cellar door operations. 
  • Providing leadership support to the Cellar Door Manager including staff rostering and supervision. 
  • Conducting the planning, preperation of running of local and regional events

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of, and appreciation for wines, a passion for delivering outstanding customer service experience as well as highly developed interpersonal & communication skills. Possession of Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) is essential and previous experience in functions, events and sales will also be highly regarded.

QUALITY ASSURANCE FACILITATOR
HEAD OFFICE, BILBUL

We are seeking to appoint a Quality Assurance Facilitator to undertake the data management and control of product specifications, including collating and communicating product information data to Domestic and Overseas customers. This position reports directly to the Quality Manager and primary responsibilities include;

  • Control and maintain customer product specifications
  • Organise and direct the creation and maintenance of the quality systems process mapping as per scope concerned
  • Systematically raise Out of Specifications/Non Conformances as necessary
  • Raise out of specifications or non-conformances as required
  • Undertake root cause analysis to achieve close out
  • Support and instigate a culture of continuous improvement across the manufacturing site

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic, tertiary qualified individual with excellent oral & written communication skills and strong computer application/data management skills. The successful candidate will also be logical, analytical and possess sound attention to detail. Previous experience in the control and maintenance of quality management systems would be highly advantageous.

In reward for your hard work and dedication there is an attractive and competitive remuneration and benefits package including a competitive salary ($50,000 - $60,000 indicative) and excellent working conditions.

CASUAL WAIT STAFF

Located amongst the vines on our Yarra Valley Estate is our Winery, Cellar Door and Restaurant. Locale Restaurant is an integral part of the visitor experience of De Bortoli and we currently have multiple opportunities available for suitably experienced persons to fill these important roles in our award-winning restaurant. These roles would ideally suit confident, enthusiastic individuals with well-developed food and beverage skills.

Commitment to the achievement of our team objectives, as well as an absolute passion for providing an outstanding customer experience is paramount. Recent experience in a quality à la carte restaurant, as well as a current RSA would also be highly regarded. The Restaurant operates for lunch Thursday to Monday, as well as for dinner Saturday evenings and as such candidates are expected to be available for both weekday and weekend shifts.

Coupled with your flair for quality and consistency you will also need to be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Passion for dining and great local produce;
  • An understanding of current dining trends and tastes
  • An understanding of Food Safety and WHS requirements

Reporting to the Site Manager, key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Day to day front of house management and coordination
  • People management and team development
  • Performance measurement and reporting
  • Engaging with customers and handling feedback
  • Restaurant administration duties

We are seeking a suitably experienced person to fill this hands-on role in our Award Winning Restaurant. This salaried position requires strong leadership skills and would ideally suit a confident, enthusiastic person with well developed food and beverage skills.

The successful applicant must have a complete understanding of food service and an absolute passion for providing an outstanding customer experience. Previous a la carte experience is a must, as is a RSA Certificate and current references. The restaurant is open for lunch Thursday to Monday, and also for dinner on Saturday evenings.
