VINTAGE 2021
BILBUL, NEW SOUTH WALES 

De Bortoli Wines is one of Australia’s leading family owned and operated wine companies with extensive national and international markets. The Company’s philosophy is firmly focused on selecting prospective employees that fit our culture and also developing individuals in line with our own core business values.

With the 2021 Vintage season just around the corner, we are seeking to fill the following seasonal positions within our Riverina-based operation: 

  • Cellar Hands
  • Laboratory Technicians
  • Field Officers

These supervised roles cover a range of duties including grower liaison, grape receival and testing, processing of fruit, juice and wine, operation of key winery equipment, maintenance of winery equipment, vintage winemaking activities and general house keeping. Key performance criteria for these roles include; minimising waste and damage to product, maintaining quality throughout the winemaking process and most importantly working in a safe and responsible manner at all times.

Applicants must be prepared and available to:

  • Participate in an interview/selection process, week commencing 2nd November 2020 (Relevant Covid-19 guidelines will apply)
  • Undertake employee screening including a physical assessment and urine drug and alcohol testing
  • Participate in our Company's extensive employee induction program
  • Work extended shifts as required 

Whilst not essential, previous experience within the wine industry and relevant accredited training would be considered an advantage. Successful applicants must be committed and reliable, have the ability to work as a team member, be willing to learn new skills and have their own transport and accommodation. All training will be provided by the company.
