Viognier is a perfumed white grape variety which is sometimes co-fermented with Shiraz to contribute perfume and complexity.
Subtle aromas of light apricot, mandarin and spice. Restrained spicy fruit flavours with texture, elegance and freshness.
Fermented in tank and older French oak casks for texture and complexity.
The palate shows texture and freshness from extended time on lees. Slight citrus notes add freshness to the restrained palate, finishes with lovely length and balance.
