Appearance
Bright crimson with purple hues.

Bouquet
Lifted, complex perfumed shiraz aromas.

Palate
The palate shows bright and lifted fruit characters of berries together with some undertones of pepper and subtle oak use.

Vintage Conditions
A warm and dry growing season allowed shiraz grapes to reach physiological ripeness at desired sugar levels.

Winemaking
Fruit is sourced from carefully selected vineyards identified from a number of Yarra Valley premium vineyards. Harvesting takes place once the fruit has acheieved optimal ripeness and shows balance and freshness. A combination of winemaking techniques are used to produce a wine with complexity, freshness and balance. A small portion of whole bunches are used in the ferment for added perfume. Also a small percentage of Viognier is included in the ferment for added complexity.

Cellaring
This wine is made for early consumption, however, it will continue to develop varietal character and complexity with short term cellaring.
