Sauvignon Blanc is an aromatic variety often made in a 'fresh' style to exhibit grassy aromas, gooseberry flavours and delicate acidity. It can also be made in the French tradition, fermented and matured in old oak.
Hints of minerality coupled with the gooseberry/lime lift give this wine structure and poise to be one of the more exciting wines from this vintage.
