"The NV 8 Year Old Tawny Port has a medium tawny-brick color and pronounced aromas of toffee, plum pudding, raisin cake and a whiff of burnt sugar. Very sweet (148 gram per liter of residual sugar), full and straightforward, it has decent balance and concentration with a very long finish."

"Pale brown and cola-like in colour, this Aussie homage to the Duoro's fortified wine shows aggressive yet balanced raisin, brown sugar, cocoa, cinnamon and vanilla make on the nose. There's some light acidity that works well to keep this tawny from becoming cloying – not much to worry about there. Though, as the raisin, toffee and spice notes on the palate are vibrant and mouth-coating. It's not actually port, but is a delicious Aussie fortified wine made in the port style."

"A nicely balanced, easy-drinking tawny, with scents of toffee, dried fruits and nuts, with flavors that still retain a hint of cherries to go with the caramel like sweetness. This hides its alcohol well. Finishing with a sensation of fresh, lipsmacking fruit."
