Appearance
Light straw in colour.

Bouquet
Faintly aromatic, classic gris characters of honey and hay, quite charming.

Palate
Refined and textural palate with delicate rose blossom and refreshing acidity.

Winemaking
Hand picked, fermented in both large casks (5,800L) and some smaller barrels (225 & 500L). Wild yeast, some lees re-suspension for creaminess, complexity and sauvage.

Alc/Vol : 12.5 % pH : 3.20 TA : 6.0 g/L

Act 3 wowed audiences with its textural restraint last year. A hard act to follow, but what a show of exuberant florals, poached pear and cloves!

"One of the new labels under the De Bortoli banner. It's mainly pinot gris with an assortment of unidentified aromatic varieties. It's more about the aromas than the palate, which is lean and long with a fresh zing following through to the finish. A hot-afternoon quaffer with plenty to like."
