Riverina, New South Wales Australia
A region with a Mediterranean-like climate, warm and dry with winter dominant rainfall. With around 400mm (16inches) of rainfall each year, water requirements for the vines are supplemented by accessing water from the Murrumbidgee River.
Deriving in part from ancient stream beds, the sandy loam soils are variable in colour and structure, ranging from red sandy earths to brown clay soils.
