The Cabernet Sauvignon provides the berry aroma’s and the Merlot grapes imparting plum characteristics.
Palate
Bursting with ripeness and flavours of rich berry and plum combined with soft mouth coating tannins produce a warm approachable wine.
Vintage Conditions
Rainfall in the spring provided adequate subsoil moisture for development and ripening of fruit. Warm and dry conditions during the harvest period allowed both varieties to be picked at optimum maturity.
Winemaking
Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes were selected from low yielding vines when both varieties were showing the desired flavour profile. Each variety was fermented seperately in both static and rotary stainless steel fermenters at 25°C - 27°C.

This wine is made for immediate enjoyment and may also be cellared for up to five years.
