"I know. I know. You'd don't expect to see a sparkling sauvignon, much less a sparkling sauvignon with a 'Bloody Good rating. Well, De Bortoli is just the kind of wine company that can get away with something like this. The bubbly is floral with bright, lively, tropical fruit flavours and some appley characters, very clean and balanced so that some sweetness on the finish is scarcely noticeable. It's very much fruit-driven and delightfully tangy."

As well as its delicate salmon-pink colour, the pink had delightfully grapey flavours that were full-throttle, sweet on the mid-palate yet finishing clean, fresh and crisp.
