Our PHI wines bring together two diverse but complementary wine partners, the De Bortoli family and the Shelmerdine family.
The combination of mature vines, meticulous hand-cultivation, and an exceptional site allows the PHI wines to evolve with minimal intervention. A Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah Grenache have been created following this philosophy.

Chardonnay from this vineyard shows delicacy, complexity and minerality. Varietal intensity and oak influence are generally in balance with the vineyard site and season characters.
Subtle ‘Euro’ Sauvignon style with nuance of variety, lots of texture and poise.
The Lusatia Park ‘B’ Block Pinot Noir is one of the more aromatic Pinot Noir sites in the upper Yarra Valley. To preserve these aromatics, we are extremely careful in the way we extract colour and flavour from the skins. Lots of whole berry fermentation and minimum plunging and remontage helps us to achieve this.
Crimson hue, succulent, juicy, ripe, lightly spiced, cherry fruit and chalky tannins. Lots of perfume and poise.
