Appearance: Brassy amber colour.

Tasting Note: Intense pineapple / botrytis combined with peaches and citrus on the nose, the 1988 Noble One displays a sweet, rich palate complexed by oak.  Sweet but with natural acidity, the aftertaste is a faint butterscoth flavour, showing great promise.

Food Recommendation: Try with a lemon delicious pudding.

Winemaker’s Comments: Dry, sound year, with grapes being picked late April through to early May at 25 Baume. Moderate, clean infection and moderate raisining.
