The Yarra Valley’s very own opera diva, Dame Nellie Melba, enchanted the world as Mimi in ‘La Boheme’. This range of wines plays tribute to one of her most well-known operas, based in the characterful Latin Quarter of 1880’s Paris.

Act One is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc 65%, Semillon 25% and the Mediterranean grape variety, Rolle 9% (aka Vermentino) - which is a unique addition to the otherwise traditional blend. A fresh, crisp wine with a fine acid backbone. Delicious!

Act Three is a blend of Pinot Gris (92%) and a splash of Riesling and Gewurztraminer. It is quite Euro in style - delicate, faintly aromatic, subtle, textural, delicious. We tried this at several temperatures the other day. At about 10°C, it is bang on!

Fruit for this wine is specifically grown and pressed from a select group of Yarra Valley vineyards. It is made from 94% Pinot Noir with a splash other aromatic varieties. The wine is pale and dry - perfect for summer drinking or as an aperitif all year round.
