The De Bortoli family has a tradition of warm Italian hospitality which is extended to the company's three Cellar Door Sales outlets where visitors can taste and purchase De Bortoli's award winning wines. It was the family's Bilbul winery that first opened its doors to the public more than fifty years ago selling wine in wooden barrels and demi-johns and later flagons and bottles to wine lovers.

The De Bortoli Bilbul winery is situated on the Burley Griffin Way near Griffith in the Riverina south western New South Wales. It is home to the world acclaimed Noble One, awarded to date more than 98 Trophies, 318 Gold Medals and 95 International Awards.

Griffith is on the Kidman Way about 5 hours from Melbourne and approximately 6 hours from Sydney by car. Alternatively you can take a fly-drive tour. There are several flights daily into Griffith via Regional Express Airlines from Sydney with the flight taking about an hour. Griffith is a thriving, cosmopolitan inland town with quality accommodation and some excellent restaurants and cafes, many with an Italian flavour.

A visit to De Bortoli is a must. There's a wide range of wines for tasting and sale on offer including the flagship Noble One as well as selected wines from our Yarra Valley, King Valley and Hunter Valley vineyards and superb fortified wines including the unique Black Noble. De Bortoli is also well known for producing wines that represent exceptional quality and value including wines in the Deen, Montage, Wild Vine, Sacred Hill and Emeri ranges. These wines have been highly praised by many wine critics and are well worth trying.

Visitors can wander the landscaped gardens created by Emeri De Bortoli and check the progress of the new memorial gardens currently under construction. The gardens will cover almost fifteen acres and be a memorial to the late Deen De Bortoli. There is also a children's playground to keep the kids entertained.
