Vineyards

The De Bortoli family owns vineyards in four very diverse premium winegrowing regions and the wines from these regions have correspondingly very different attributes.

The classic Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Shiraz, Viognier and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties are grown at the cool climate vineyards in the Yarra Valley, Victoria just an hour away from Melbourne, Australia's second largest city.

Mediterranean varieties like Sangiovese, Tempranillo and Pinot Grigio that originate from Italy and Spain grow exceptionally well at the King Valley vineyards in north eastern Victoria's 'High Country.'

The warm climate vineyards of Bilbul in southern New South Wales produce a wide range of great value varietal wines as well as world class botrytis styles such as Noble One and barrel aged fortified wines such as Show Liqueur Muscat and Black Noble.

From the Hunter Valley vineyards come the Semillon and Shiraz wines for which the region is famous. These are wines with character and personality that age gracefully in the bottle over many years.

Our De Bortoli winemakers and viticulturists are working together to create interesting, regional wine styles - wines with provenance and a sense of place.
