The Bilbul winery in the Riverina is famous for the iconic dessert wine Noble One but also produces world class fortified, premium varietal and sparkling wines. Great strides have been made with varietal wines in recent years and they deliver outstanding quality and value. Fruit is sourced from our own 300 hectares of vineyards and those of selected growers.
The region enjoys a warm Mediterranean climate with winter dominant rainfall. The sandy loam soils vary in colour and structure from red sandy earths to brown clay loams. Bilbul plays a leading role in sustainability with a detailed action plan in place addressing water recycling, waste control, greenhouse gas emissions and other key environmental issues.
"We are improving wine quality through our vineyard management, by the varieties we plant and the crop levels we expect from them."
